Join one of the Thames Basin Partnership Wardens for an 8.5 mile ramble starting from Chantry Wood, up St Martha’s Hill, to Newlands Corner for lunch and through the historic gunpowder mills. See some spectacular views over Surrey. On the way, learn some interesting facts about the history and nature of the area.

Halfway around the walk, refreshments are available at Newlands Corner Café. Please bring a packed lunch or alternatively food can be bought from the café.

Path difficulty: Hilly terrain and uneven surfaces. A reasonable level of fitness is required. Length of route is 8.5 miles. Dogs welcome but on leads around livestock. The ramble is unsuitable for buggies.
