19th August 2021 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

FREE NATURE WALKS!

Your phone can help you identify and learn more about the wonderful plants and animals we share a planet with. It’s also a lot easier to carry around than a bag of books!

Join Thames Basin Heaths Partnership Education Officer Michael and Warden Val on a guided walk around Wildmoor Heath to find out how your phone can help you identify wildlife. You will spot some brilliant heathland species and, if you’d like to become a citizen scientist, we can show you how!

Bring a smartphone and, if you have them, binoculars.

If you can, please download the following free apps for your phone, in advance of the walk:

iRecord Butterflies / Seek – by iNaturalist / BirdNET
