Where you’ll find it…

Find the free car park open 6am till 9pm on Bramshot Lane, between Farnborough and Fleet. Nearest postcode GU14 0FB. Grid reference SU 83511 54970. What3Words: pipe.island.commoners. It’s signposted from the Pyestock Roundabout on the A327.

There are also several pedestrian entrances including off Summit Avenue, not far from Pyestock Roundabout, at SU 83703 55392, opposite Fleet Spurs Football Club on Kennels Lane at SU 83733 55193, and at SU 83577 54672.

What you’ll find there…

Designed to be convenient for Hartland Village and very popular with local families. This greenspace is looking great, with a network of good footpaths to explore, woodland, ponds and a large open picnic area. There’s a play area and we were intrigued by the kids’ bike track, a lovely little area to hone your cycling skills. And in other corners there are fascinating reminders of a military past.

Note: Dog walkers should be aware that the post and rail fencing is not dog-proof and concerns have been raised about this with Hart District Council.
