What you’ll find there…
Keep an eye out for birds of prey overhead, and in the spring listen out for the beautiful song of the skylark! With heaps of space and good paths, Peacock Meadows is the ideal spot for dog walks, picnics and jogging. Those looking to explore their artistic side will find three posts with brass engravings of plants and animals to look out for. Why not take the kids for a spot of brass rubbing?
Crossing over Peacock Lane will take you to another section of the park, where you can stroll through a field bordering ancient woodland. A separately fenced area, and less visited than the main meadow, it’s still part of Peacock Meadows and is worth seeking out.
