Where you’ll find it…
The main pedestrian entrance is on White Rose Lane, close to the junction with Knowl Hill. Nearest postcode GU22 8JB. Grid reference TQ 01767 57819. Parking’s not really an option on White Rose Lane, but there are possibilities on nearby streets.
Alternatively, for an extended walk, you can have three hours free parking at Woking Park Leisure Centre on Kingfield Road (GU22 9BA). From here a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the Hoe Stream brings you to a footbridge that takes you into the nature reserve. Note that there are two stiles to cross on this route though.
What you’ll find there…
Lovely little Local Nature Reserve, featuring alder woodland beside the Hoe Stream in Woking. Makes a nice walk if combined with a stroll along the stream from Woking Park Leisure Centre.
