Butterflies & Other Things With Wings

FREE INSECT SAFARIS!

Discover the butterflies and other invertebrates you might find on heathland in summer. If the weather is right, Chobham Common offers excellent opportunities to observe butterflies and Mike & Michael will be running mini guided walks, introducing you to amazing species and answering your questions.

Mini-guided walks will leave the car park at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. Short walks of approx half an hour in small groups.

FIND US: We’ll be set up in Staple Hill Car Park, Chobham Common. See map.

FREE. Suitable for all, especially families with school age children. Drop-in anytime between 10am and 3pm. Well behaved dogs on leads welcome.

NO BOOKING REQUIRED!

Please note that Thames Basin Heaths Partnership staff are not permitted to administer first aid due to COVID-19 protocols. Should an emergency arise, we will call the emergency services.
