Have you ever thought about getting involved in conservation volunteering?
Conservation volunteering is a great way to get active, meet new people, learn exciting new skills and help to take positive action to look after our local wildlife. It’s also great fun!
Everyone joining in with activities such as pine-pulling, boardwalk-building, cattle checking, litter picking and wildlife surveying, for example, provides invaluable help in protecting and enhancing our local natural world. This directly benefits our wonderful wildlife habitats and the plants and animals that need them to be in top condition to thrive. It’ll also enable us all to enjoy all that the landscape has to offer for years to come.
It’s a great chance to help out on our fantastic local heathlands, but also on a variety of different greenspaces too!
