Heathland for Beginners: Wildmoor Heath

FREE NATURE WALK!

Wildmoor Heath is a fantastic place for wildlife and this walk will introduce you to some of the fantastic plants & animals that call it home.

If you walk on Wildmoor Heath and would like to find out more about its amazing heathland habitat, why not join Thames Basin Heaths Partnership Education Officer, Michael, for a leisurely wander? Discover a local landscape rarer than rainforest and find out about some of the amazing plants and animals that live there – perhaps even spotting an elusive Dartford Warbler along the way!

Learn how Wildmoor Heath is managed to keep it in tip top condition for wildlife and find out how you can take action to protect this special landscape.
