Where you’ll find it…
Find the public car park off the High Street, Chobham village (behind ‘Chobham Rider’), nearest postcode GU24 8LZ. Grid reference SU 97460 61925. There’s free parking for 2 hours, but be sure to get a ticket from the machine.
What you’ll find there…
A real gem of a circular walk, providing natural tranquillity, yet not far from Chobham High Street. You could be a million miles from the traffic! Particularly lovely in the spring and summer, when the meadows are alive and buzzing with butterflies and bees. Surrounded by woodland and hedges, nature-lovers will love the diversity here.
There are bridges across the gentle flowing Mill Bourne and benches provide places for quiet contemplation. It can be muddy in places, so best take wellingtons in wet weather.
More information from Surrey Heath Borough Council, including a detailed map of the footpaths, can be found here.
