What you’ll find there…

Be sure to make your way up to the highest point, it’s a forgivingly gentle slope. Well worth the effort for the far reaching view.

On your way you’ll encounter two lovely ponds and, depending on the season, you might be lucky enough to hear the resident Skylarks singing above you. The soundtrack of summer and, sadly, a sound that’s getting rarer. To help protect these birds, dogs should be kept to the paths during the breeding season (May to August).

Note: Dogs on paths please to protect nesting Skylarks. It can be wet here in winter, and after prolonged rain, so it’s worth bringing wellies.
