Where you’ll find it…

What you’ll find there…
An attractive and varied woodland walk, with a signposted trail to help you make the most of your visit. The route passes a particularly lovely pond, the boundary of Pine Ridge Golf Club and is surprisingly hilly in places!
If you’re wondering about the name, the history of the allotments dates back to the 1800s. The parish designated this place for the poor to collect fire wood, by way of compensation for losing common land enclosed under the Enclosures Act. There’s more information about the history and the charity that still owns the woodlands today, on the Frimley Fuel Allotments website.
Today it’s a peaceful woodland walk, open to all.
