Canines on the Common!

Canines on the Common Email signature

This weekend we’ll be helping the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices and Horsell Common Preservation Society at “Canines on the Common” at Heather Farm. The good weather looks set to continue into the weekend, so why not come along? Bring the dog, have some fun and help to support a fantastic local charity! There’re all sorts of fun doggy activities planned! Fun dog agility, a 3K sponsored dog walk with treasure hunt, vet and grooming advice, pet photography, crafts, refreshments, face painting, stalls and more. And if temperatures soar, a dip in the river should cool things down a bit!

There’ll be dog behaviourists on hand to answer all your burning questions. Natalie Light will be giving a short talk at 11am and again at 2pm on Saturday, and will also be available in the main event area. And Bethany Bell will do the same on Sunday. Both dog behaviour specialists are a wealth of information and practical advice to help you with your pet. You’d be barking mad to miss it!

If you haven’t come across the Woking & Sam Beare Hospices, they are a wonderful organisation helping people with life limiting conditions. Their healthcare specialists care for patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Caring for people at home and at their fabulous facility at the Goldsworth Park Centre in Woking. They deliver well over 8,000 hours of care a year, and it’s all provided free of charge!
